Insurance Information

While we will gladly submit billing to your insurance company for you, all payments will still be collected fully out of pocket at the time of service. Any coverage from your insurance company will be reimbursed back to you.

How do I know if acupuncture is covered by my insurance?

You can call the number on your insurance card and ask these following questions: 

We are not currently contracted with any insurance companies, so it is important to specify that you are asking about out-of-network acupuncture benefits/coverage when calling your insurance provider.

1. Do I have out-of-network acupuncture benefits/coverage?

2. How much is my out-of-network deductible? How much have I met towards my out-of-network deductible?

3. How much will my plan cover once I have fully met this deductible?

4. How many acupuncture visits are covered per year?

How much coverage will I be receiving?

It all depends on which plan you have. PPOs typically cover from 20-80% after you have met your deductible. Since each plan is different, it is important to call your insurance company to verify your out-of-network acupuncture coverage so that you have an idea of how much reimbursement you may be receiving after your deductible is met. 

If your insurance offers out of network acupuncture benefits, then your insurance company may then reimburse you after the claim is processed, which typically takes about 3-6 weeks.
